That "we are winning" -- I guess what be way to observe an anniversary than by wheeling out the ol' chestnuts:

Dozens of American troops were injured when a suicide attacker detonated a truck bomb outside a NATO base in eastern Afghanistan, NBC News reported Sunday.

The explosion occurred at 5:30 p.m. local time on Saturday (9 a.m. ET Saturday) in Wardak province, on the eve of the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terror attacks against the United States.

    I think that it was the great philosopher W who once said, "the gut feeling, properly understood, is divine revelation of truth and trumps fancy schmancy idea thinking."

    I believe that this was upon reflection of Locke's An Essay Concerning Humane Understanding.
