Yes, they're already calling it the "White House Sex Scandal" on Twitter, and I've had several people refer to those involved as "White House staffers." I guess that's true if you're going to call EVERY EMPLOYEE OF HOMELAND SECURITY a "White House staffer."
Of course, remember all of those "overzealous volunteers" during the Bush years? It's always IOKIYAR.
