It is definitely a trend

So many GOP male idiots so little time to post on all of them.
[Pennsylvania GOP Senate Candidate Tom] Smith affirmed that he believed his daughter’s pregnancy from consensual sex was similar to a rape. “Put yourself in a father’s position, yes, I mean it is similar.”
Yes, consensual sex...JUST LIKE RAPING YOUR FATHER.

And as for positions: I'm guessing your daughter's was missionary and yours is unelectable.

it was just like rape, except it wasn't rape... Hmmm.

Well, what the hell, why not?

it makes just as much sense as "Abortion is just like murder, except it isn't murder."

or, "Social Security is going bankrupt, except it isn't going bankrupt."

Or all of the other crazy shit that passes for normal talk in GOP World.

  3. And, I'll just bet this moron is a big believer in abstinence education.

If so, I'd say this guy has just fucked himself. What's his position on consensual dumbfucking?

  4. This reaction makes perfect sense if you realize that, to Tom Smith (and those in his party), female children aren't human beings.

They are possessions. (Hence those Purity Balls, where dad promises to keep daughter "pure" until he can "give her" to her husband.)

What's happened here is that someone has had sex with Smith's daughter (his possession) with Smith's consent. Since sex without consent is rape, then Smith sees himself as being raped.

I mean, it's not like the daughter is an actual human person who can give consent to her own body, right?

of course it's similar......well except for the consent part. Not that that matters a fig to Conservatives (other people's of course)

    Makes perfect sense to me:
Smith's daughter got pregnant. Doesn't matter if the pregnancy was the result of a violent crime or of consensual lovemaking. The inconvenience and embarrassment to Smith was exactly the same.

What is not clear about that?

Well, it wasn't legitimate rape, anyway. Couldn't have been.
