ReplyDeleteIt came as a bit of shock to read a couple of years ago that slavery was still legal in Niger until 2005. It doesn't surprise me that a desperately poor country like Bolivia would bend on this. Unfortunately, it's one of those decisions that will keep Bolivia poor.
