Have we accomplished jackshit in figuring out what is going to replace 30 year old space technology?

What have we launched since the Columbia disaster, 3 or 4 shuttles? Each and everyone of them has had this "broken tile" scare.

It's old, it's decrepit, we should have started fucking planning a new delivery vehicle after the Challenger blew up.
