Jonah Goldberg, Bill Kristol, Jon Podhoretz, George Bush,

Donald Trump, various and sundry other Bushs and Kennedys are aghast!! Aghast I tell you!!! How dare other countries allow people to be promoted without merit, simply because they're related to somebody!

A series of military promotions reinforced the leading role of the armed forces in North Korean political life, as the youngest son and sister of Kim Jong-il, were made four-star generals before a landmark meeting of the Korean Workers’ Party on Tuesday.

I look forward to seeing this mocked on Fox & Friends by Steve and Peter Doocy!

Handing the reigns over to your offspring just isn't done in this day and age. You're supposed to buy him an election if you want to hand a country over to him. Or, failing that, have some third party offer him the job of ruling the country.

Appearances are important. Flaunting your privilege in a too-obvious manner is just gauche.
