Thank goodness

Rick Santorum is out of office and able to devote all of his "considerable" energies to being a professional talking head:

Former presidential candidate Rick Santorum attacked the media and "smart people" for not being on the side of conservatives in a speech to the Values Voter Summit on Saturday.

"We will never have the media on our side, ever, in this country," Santorum, a former Pennsylvania senator, told the audience at the Omni Shoreham hotel. "We will never have the elite, smart people on our side."
Yes, hard to believe the "smart" people oppose a party that has a membership of Rick Santorums in it.

Repubs don't like us because we think they're stupid, and we don't like them because..we think they're stupid.

Conservative: savants who know more than the so-called "elite, smart people" about any given topic.

You name the topic--- evolution! global climate! child rearing! criminology! economics!... and you'll find this to be the case.

A conservative savant at Conservapedia has even disproven Einstein's theory!

Isn't Conservapedia edited (via arranging copied and pasted material) by his home-school students?

The young and ignorant providing cyclopedia services to the old and ignorant? Does explain a lot.

  7. Schlafly also seems to be equating the "relativity" of physics to the dreaded ethical "relativism," as defined by the wingnutz of the country.

The boy's got more than a couple of screws loose. If he sneezes hard, his head's gonna fall off.

As for Santorum, there's a damned good reason why he was picked as the #1 dimmest bulb in Congress. He was stooopid then, and he hasn't improved over time.

Building a power base by telling supporters their lack of knowledge is not only an asset, but proof of moral superiority? Santorum, amigos, is a genius who will never go hungry.
