Bobo the Contextless, the Proper GOP Doxology

As usual, Mondays are whiplash days at the NY Times, as Krugman is brilliant and Brooks phones it in, with his usual level of non-complexity. Truly Bobo is the voice of the Republican Cognitive Dissonance movement:

Whatever horrors the Russians have perpetrated upon the Chechens, whatever their ineptitude in responding to the attack, the essential nature of this act was in the act itself. It was the fact that a team of human beings could go into a school, live with hundreds of children for a few days, look them in the eyes and hear their cries, and then blow them up.

Yea, Reverand Brooks exhorts us, let us take context out of tragedies, and look only upon the tragedies themselves...unless, of course, the act is taken by ourselves, or those to whom we choose to feel are upon our side, then verily their acts shall be explained and rationalized away in thy Lord's mercy.

So sayeth the Bobo, mouthpiece of God's gift to America so blessed.

Remember, to sing along with Bobo's revised Doxology (sing along with the provided melody).

Praise Bush from whom all blessings flow,
Praise Dubya and his buddies high and low,
Remember they are part of heav'nly hosts,
Praise Dubya, 'cause all logic is now toast.

Aaaaaaaaaaa-men.
