Zell Miller's membership privileges restored. Apparently, batshit crazy is fashionable.

You know when Miller was announced as a speaker for the GOP I'm sure, as you might expect it caused some concern among Democrats and please Republicans. On the other hand, I thought that it was possible and HOPED that Miller would manage to sound like the kind of Democrat the Party was more than happy to have go over to the GOP after the passage of the 1964 Civil Rights Act -- the Dixiecrats.

He did it. Thanks Zell. He managed to sound like a bitter old Dixiecrat. Now THAT is the image of the GOP we've been trying to show through the fog for years. Mean, bitter, hysterical, barely lucid and full of contradictions and deceits.
