An even more pathetic smattering of applause

When I watched Bush's pathetic last "one-fingered salute" to truth, the Constitution and logic I laughed when there were literally the sounds of two people clapping only have it die off quickly from what must have been embarrassment.

I cracked it must have been FoxNews reporters.

But no, it was even more pathetic:

But when the appointed hour of 9:15 a.m. arrived, the last two rows in the seven-row briefing room were empty, and a press aide told White House interns to fill those seats.

Now we know who applauded (probably still the FoxNews folks).
