Whistleblower Edward Snowden received several standing ovations in the Swedish parliament after being given the Right Livelihood award for his revelations of the scale of state surveillance. Snowden, who is in exile in Russia, addressed the parliament by video from Moscow. In a symbolic gesture, his family and supporters said no one picked up the award on his behalf in the hope that one day he might be free to travel to Sweden to receive it in person.Meanwhile, America is about a month away from giving Michelle Duggar's womb a Medal of Freedom. Bush was always impressed by Rove’s ability to correctly name Norway, Sweden and Finland on a map. W could almost always get Denmark, though.
Kind of looks like the only lesson we learned from the whole Snowden business was better internal NSA security to prevent another Snowden.

Perhaps the award was not accepted by anyone on his behalf because of the GPS transponder planted inside which provides a target signal for the drones.
I know, Americans would never illegally violate the sovereign airspace of another nation just to kill an enemy of the state with a missile.
Nor would they attempt to plant electronic homing devices in objects destined for receipt by enemies of the state in order to determine their exact whereabouts at a given time.
Nor would they send a team of Special Forces illegally into a sovereign nation to kill an enemy of the state, once having determined his exact whereabouts.
Because we're the "good guys". No, really.
Release the drones over Stockholm! We'll show those lutefisk gobbling bastards!
Nice read, Thanks for sharing!
