It was great. If the Republicans thought the President was coming out with his tail between his legs, they got a big surprise. He kicked their sorry asses.
What surprised me (it did not surprise me) was how they planted themselves in their seats so firmly that they could only rise and applaud during elements of the speech that represented the military. Obama's comments about equal pay for women in the workplace got nuthin. Paid maternity leave, nuthin. It shows how absurdly rigid their party has become.
They're all a bunch of asshats.
