Dear Democrats

You might want to make a commercial or two off of Joe Barton's statement at House hearings today apologizing to Tony Hay-zel-ward for Obama being mean to him and making his company pay for its clusterfuckery.

Dear Joe Barton,

You forgot to apologize for the unnecessary and threatening intrusion of fishing boats* into prime oiling grounds prior to the explosion.

Now, stop slackin' and get in the game.

Dear Joe Barton & Southern State Republicans,

Maybe you could sweeten the apologies by offering to trade displaced workers as indentured slaves to BP for world wide use at various ocean rigs and oil fields. This would:

1) show good faith,
2) help lower the costs of future production*, and
3) make it unnecessary to burden Real Americans with taxes to provide aid and assistance to those complaining of being short-changed by the Lord's actions in the Gulf.

*And, of course, the consumer would see no reflection of these savings thus allowing BP to make up with its share holders through enhanced dividends.

Win, win, win & win.

(I don't know why I don't have a job as a Republican consultant or Fox News analyst/contributor. This stuff is easy.)

/switches empathy/conscience back to on position.

Consider Barton's comments along with Angle's "second amendment remedies" and it hits you that our elect have become embarrassingly seditious.
