Just a Thought

When you stop and think about just how bad a spot the nation is really in, it is amazing that there is any room at all for optimism. I know some of our faithful friends here, like minded as we are as a group, will surely disclaim any optimism, but if 19% of the country can think favorably about Bush, well, anything is possible.

So here is my thought. Bush did everything, and I mean everything, in his power to ruin the country and things are bad enough that the most bold and well-planned programs to bring the country back from the economic, foreign policy, war, wiretapping, torture, constitutional crisis brink might not be enough. As for me, I am an optimist, but I wanted to share this cheerful thought. Good night.
