A short time ago few knew, even in Wisconsin, who Joanne Kloppenburg was when she was running against long-time Republican Pol David Prosser to unseat the latter in what can only be called an off-month off-year election. Now she's known as the "person who isn't David Prosser" and involved in an extremely close race. Just what we need in the Midwest, another too close to call election. The preliminary results are here.
Meanwhile, I do not like to pick blog fights with other blogs, okay, that's a lie, but I cannot help but notice that the Huffington Post's coverage of the repression of the working person in Wisconsin and elsewhere has a rather hollow ring to it.
And finally, we have the newly released budget fantasy-fiction of Republican Paul Ryan, aka the "cast grandma out on the ice-shelf policy". I'm sure you're shocked to know that Fred Hiatt is intrigued.

Let's vote on whether unions represent the working class. Wisconsin has a referendum. Let the people decide and not one man who never ran on this issue in the first place. Are you guys afraid of something?
re HuffPoo / AOL -- serf's up.
gnews can be on the blogs too.
What I'm intrigued with is Paul Ryan's ( not to be confused with the equally confused Rand Paul) extraodinarily rosie picture of how the trillions will come rolling in after we cut more taxes on those that can afford it. It is must reading.... I'm visually concecting with unicorns
Ryan's proposals move the conversation further rightward. watch the Democrats move even more to the right with this as the "topic".
Really shows only one party with two wings.
Kloppenburg issued a statement thanking Prosser for his service and vowing to be an impartial judge. Prosser's campaign didn't immediately return a message seeking comment on whether he would seek a recount. In other words, nothing Prosser was screaming about could be printed.....or maybe they were all just ducking for cover.
underwear gnome party.
Ariana admitted Huff's tune has changed.
