I am always amazed when a child or spouse shows them the storage facilities of their deceased family member, and how much stuff the deceased had. The pickers buy only a few items (not even 1/1000th of a percent of the total items) for a few hundred dollars. Based on the prices paid by the pickers for those few items, the total value of the deceased's stuff would be several hundred thousand but the completely disorganized storage probably makes that value completely unrealizable.
It makes me feel much better about my piles of useless crap !
