And now I shall yell at clouds

In the past two days I've seen two product placement ads within already existing insurance company ads.

I know this has been going on with fast-food restaurants for years...as a way to have children browbeat their parents into some cheap-ass Star Wars or Shrek toy, but this is going too far.

Yes! The rise of the meta-ad has begun. Soon, "entertainment" will simply be a series of comedic/dramatic advertisements that are psychologically engineered to cause impulse buys upon viewing.

Then our country will be great again.

no longer do I watch the ads nor tv much. I think there are ads on the internet, but I never notice. Guess its my age.
