The Fiscally Responsible Party

Uberblogger Kos, of the Daily Kos, a great blog, but not as great as the Minute Kos -- but much more satisfying to the ladies, makes a great point:

Neither major party agrees with small government anymore, and I'm glad. We liberals won that battle... No Republican government would survive the real gutting of the federal government. That's why Bush has abandoned such principles. He wants to get reelected. The question thus becomes, which party is actually willing to pay for big government?

We know our Chairchimp of the Board has no idea what the hell he is doing, and I'd say turning a huge surplus into an even more gigantic deficit is a good example of that.

It is clear, that Democrats are both more fiscally responsible, more judicious in paying for our promises, better at targeting tax breaks, and now clearly better at managing the business environment that makes the stock market tick.

So why keep such a miserable failure. Give him a golden parachute shower back to Crawford.
