Atta J. Turk's Trust and nearly final NFL picks

Ah, the last week of the season, where the Vikings confirm as always that even when they are good, they'll demonstrate they'll disappointment me at the very end. Still, all-in-all in picks it has been a bad year -- as picking straight up should be. A 4 and 2 week makes me enter the last week at 62 and 34, pretty good but not amazing or anything. Like an underwear bomb that just gives you a shahttp://www.blogger.com/post-edit.g?blogID=7657367&postID=1003046929089547334#pely topiary.

This week is especially tough because many teams in the playoffs good teams you could generally count on to beat a shitty team 80 or 90 percent of the time will lay an egg and not even try because no one wants to get hurt. Well, at least I cannot go oh-and-28.

Saints at Panthers: The Saints having won 13 straight to start the season have dropped 2 in a row, both at home where they were considered almost invulnerable. Losing to the Cowboys, tough but not embarassing, getting their ass kicked by the woeful Buccaneers, however -- awful. Now they go and play the Panthers who have decided to be the best 7 and 8 team ever -- coming off ass-kikings of the playoff bound Vikings and were playoff bound 'til they played them, Giants. The Saints are not starting Brees or many of their starters. The Panthers therefore will win big. Who was the last #1 see that lost their last 3?

Patriots at Texans: Patriots do not care really how they do, though at least they'll start Braday. The Texans though have a chance and will come out determined not to choke for once, especially in front of their fans. Plus, Texans starting QB Matt Schaub thinks he's got a shot at Adrian Lima to compete with Mr. Gisele Bundchen. Take the Texans.

Giants at Vikings
: Ah the battle between the collapsing Giants and the suddenly collapsing Vikings. Oh, Vikings, vikings, vikings, why do you do this to me every time? 4 Super Bowl losses, the Hail Mary Game, taking a knee against the Falcons, 41-0 against the Giants...having lost 3 straight to lose home field in 2000. Why or why does it happen ever...fucking...time?!

Or does it, Vikings win. Hope springs eternal.

Ravens at Raiders: Does Al Davis know the seasons over? Does Jamarcus Russell? The Ravens win big.

Eagles at Cowboys: Well, what do you know? A games that means something -- a division title and a home game next week. Huzzah! The Eagles if they win, will have a bye next week. There's no doubt they are among the hotter teams in the NFC -- but for some reason I think the Cowboys will actually play well in a big game...again. They beat the Eagles in Philly last year, and now at home, I think they'll find a way...to play Philly at home again next week and lose.

Packers at Cardinals: Another game where the two teams, in all likelihood, will play again next week in the same place. What will be result of two teams trying desperately not to reveal one damn thing about how they'll play the next week? What a bizarre experiment in shitty game planning. I'll take the Cardinals simply because though I'm not a big fan of the cards back up, I have no enthusiasm for the Packers 2nd stringer.
