A Georgia Republican said Friday he didn't immediately condemn a constituent who asked about assassinating President Barack Obama because he was stunned by the question and didn't want to dignify it with a response.
Uh-huh.
His office refused to say whether it had audio or video footage of the exchange.
Maybe because it shows many in the crowd, Broun's base, applauding and laughing, including Broun himself.

I hear crap like this in the break room at least once a week. Broun shouldn't "deeply regret" the statement -- he should let his Tea Party freak flag fly. With pride.
In all fairness to Congressman Broun, he thought the kindly old gentleman just wanted to wing the President.
too macacalicious.
shooting a doctor in church on a sunny sunday in May, a congresslady meeting the voters and killing six others, and calling for another deranged person to shoot the President are just plain traitorous. Odd how these NRA nutjobs call for others to shoot people, and when it happens, it was another deranged nutjob, not them, responsible.
Unfuckingbelievable..
vox
And if a Repuke was shot at or if anyone dared suggest the same? All holy hell would break loose. IOIYAR.
