Terry Jones (not the beloved Monty Python alum) sure got his way, he got lots of attention and he got some dead people out of the deal through the stupid irrational extremism of others. So the bigoted vileness of assholes transcends all religious faiths.
Not so awesome.

This is exactly the same thing as yelling "Fire!" in a crowded theater. In either case you know damn well there is a good chance someone will get hurt. How the hell is this not illegal?
Of course in Jones' case he didn't even have the balls to yell it in the theater.
Jones was warned. Jones ignored the warning. Others died due to his wanton disregard.
This man should be scourged by his own people.
But, like teh oil executives, he will be rewarded for his actions.

in our country burning our own flag is protected political speech. we all have the right to condemn and castigate terry jones. we don't have a right to murder anyone. both "sides" did something deeply offensive. do we really want to compare book burning to murder?

He has a congregation of twenty mouth breathing ignoramuses and his actions result in the death of thirty missionaries. Do the math.We should send all of them to Afghanistan to spread the word of Jebus. Really. I'll help pay.
