I actually wanted Newt to be the nominee, because he'd get so badly shellacked, but it looks like I'm going to have to make do with a couple of months of hapless campaigning, at best. Hopefully, there will be at least one "Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor" moment along the way.
