Rip Van Noonan

Apparently this is the first war that we've ever honored soldiers -- the empty gesture of the car magnet is so much better than giving them adequate counseling as veterans, or god forbid maintaining their personal data. I'll make sure I alert Presidents Washington, Jackson, Taylor, Grant, Garfield, T. Roosevelt, and Eisenhower.

And then I'll call Ken Burns and Tom Brokaw -- I'll do that on Memorial Day.
