Because it's rather easy to get in this country for some insane reason, the only outlet for authorities investigating a house full of explosives in California is not to empty the house, but to burn/blow it the fuck up, in its entirety.
And to think it doesn't even possess members of the Sybionese Liberation Army or MOVE within it. Which I guess is the difference between how left-wing and right-wing extremists are treated.

it's easier to burn it than to have some nosy reporter get wind of and report on what the guy had in his house... and btw, this story "broke" at the same time (Thanksgiving) as the guy advised, encourage and supplied by the FBI in Portland, Ore... I guess Muslims make for better "news".
Hell, my 95-year-old mother lives in Escondido, God bless her. If old age won't kill her, the floating explosion-released toxins might.

One thing for sure, burning it down will destroy a lot of evidence that Just Might like his little stash to a network of bombmaking lords from Idaho and Montana and Arkansas and Kansas and....
Plus, will homeowner's insurance cover the loss the landlord will have?
