I have long been aware that the voice of ABC Sports, Al Michaels, is a Republican. That is all fine and good, whatever.
But I wasn't expecting him to engage in cheap shots at Kerry for the purpose of blathering during what was a pretty good game.
Michaels partner, computer football bewitcher and foot powder advocate, John Madden, described a meaningless play were a player juked around a bit and it went as described by the incomparable Bob Sommersby:
MADDEN: It’s what you call a flip flop!
MICHAELS: You’re in the right state for that!
Yes, cheap shots are THAT easy.
