Something George Bush didn't Tell the National Guard Convention

Saw this at Atrios' Comments from "Count Asterisk" and thought it drew a stark picture when people try to proclaim Bush as some sort of high-flying brave National Guard Ace.

In the Vietnam war, of the more than 58,000 American Deaths, 97 were from National Guard. One 1/580th of the casualties.

In Iraq, 115 of those killed have been in the National Guard. Greater than ten-percent.
