Welcome to the Dark Ages Again

The so-called forgiving people of Westboro Baptist church are spreading peace and love... by calling for "God's hared" on gay men, lesbian women, and anyone supporting marriage rights for them. These ignorant hate mongers (hey can we call them what they are for once?!) are once again taking their ridiculous hate show on the road by picketing churches in Helena, Montana following a recent court ruling.

The group called its arrival in Helena a "religious protest and warning" that was initiated by a Montana Supreme Court ruling that found that gay and lesbian partners of the Montana university system have the same right to health insurance benefits as their heterosexual partners.

One might even wonder if these folks are some kind of homage to characters in deliverance, guess what... you might be right.

Many of the church's congregants, which Phelps-Roper placed at 100, are related to Phelps by blood, according to the Anti-Defamation League.

Phelps, along with his family, has made a career protesting gay and lesbian issues around the country, including the funeral of gay murder victim Matthew Shepard. The Southern Poverty Law Center has classified the church as a hate group.

Hmmmm... hate group seems like a kind word to use for these fools who use a thin veneer of religion to justify their attack on people who are different than themselves. RH readers might recall that this is the same "church" that has protested at Matthew Sheppard's burial with intolerant signs such as "God hates Fags."

Well, I have news for these inbreds, I think there is plenty of room in the underworld for them and their hatred.

And we don't even have to wait for a weather report.
