What isn't a new blog?

I'm guessing that about two-thirds of the progressive blogs out there debuted in 2004, and Rising Hegemon is no different. I'm sure all of you "really" remember the blog's FIRST POST on March 18, 2004, a date which will live in obscurity (dig what Blogger did with those margins and line-breaks).

So, it is nice to be nominated for Best New Blog from the Koufax Awards, only to lose by a wide-margin to First Draft again, (DAMN YOU FERRETS!!).
