I must say it is touching

To see the right-wing blogs all excited about a French election and the more conservative (conservative by that country's standards) candidate winning is pretty funny. Especially considering the incredible "maturity" they displayed in 2003 over the French not being gung-ho enough over Bush's gloriously unnecessary and disastrous war.

Things are now going so badly for the Republicans they need to outsource their gloating.
