A Tale of Two Monicas

This is the story of two girls named "Monica."

One Monica grew up in Beverly Hills. She went to work in the White House, where she had an affair with the president. After the affair became public knowledge there was an enormous scandal. Her name become known across the land. She was so terrified of getting into trouble for having a consensual affair with another adult that she requested -- and was granted -- immunity from prosecution by a vicious partisan hack. She went to live in New York for a while. Then she was admitted to -- and graduated from -- the prestigious London School of Economics. She's now beginning a new career. This is Monica.

The other Monica grew up the Susquehanna Valley. She went to a fourth-rate law school run by a leader of the American Taliban and graduated to become a vicious partisan hack in the administration of the Worst.President.Ever. After her the depth and depravity of her hackery became known, there was an enormous scandal. Her name became known across the land. She was so terrified of getting into trouble for improperly blocking the appointment of U.S. Attorneys and perverting the Department of Justice that she asked for -- and was granted -- immunity from prosecution. Every hiring partner at every law firm in America knows her name. This is Monica.

(What's with all these Monicas?)
