Why Are Congress's Ratings So Low?

Just ask Cokie Roberts. All they have enacted is a minimum wage increase so Democrats just aren't accomplishing what they said they promised. Good lord how does she keep her commentator spot on NPR? Congressional approval ratings are low--always. And for starters all they have to do is force the president's hand on Iraq. That would be too easy an explanation for the punditocracy who can't stand to be wrong on the war.
