Ah, more right-wing religion is under attack nonsense...
Characterizing Hitchens' work as "screechy and intolerant" and "shrill hectoring" may be fair (I haven't read his book, but How Religion Poisons Everything is a pretty unambiguous subtitle) but lumping Phillip Pullman's His Dark Materials series with that is nonsense.
And saying that there's a genetic predisposition towards religiosity doesn't say one thing about the existence of a creator. To be honest, the whole piece feels like a series of strawmen being set up and knocked down.
But isn't that the normal form of right-wing analysis?
