Hello Hegemonians,
I write this while sitting in the Baltimore airport waiting for a flight to take me home. Ah airports... an exercise in which we all watch contests among young children on who can yell the loudest. And who among us can forget the tests on how much personal space adults can give up.
I am certain that we are all aware of some of the discussion and postings on these Walmart shenanigans where they are telling employees that the Democratic party is evil and a Democratic win will cost employees their jobs. But what I want to know is whether or not there will be repercussions to such blatant shilling for McCheat and the Republican party?
The Wal-Mart human-resources managers who run the meetings don't specifically tell attendees how to vote in November's election, but make it clear that voting for Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Barack Obama would be tantamount to inviting unions in, according to Wal-Mart employees who attended gatherings in Maryland, Missouri and other states.
Of course, this IS a way of telling people how to vote! Sheesh. Am I lost here? Ah, journalism... thy name is lazy. Or is it worthless? Or is it 'Bought-and-paid-for?'
And speaking of McCheat, is it just me or does he appear to be flaying and going for desperate awfully early in this contest?
