A Nation of Assholes

What Digby and Will Bunch say about tasers.

They were originally -- allegedly -- designed to have an alternative to deadly force against real and imminent danger.

Naturally, they've turned into nearly the first alternative to controlling all citizens, including those who are not at all dangerous.

And too many just laugh and clap at their use.

Bunch: "...that attitude -- that any kind of lawbreaking or even potential lawbreaking requires the harshest possible response".

He gave Arizona as Exhibit A.

May I suggest Exhibit B: Mississippi sentencing two girls* to life in prison for stealing $11?

Conservatives do not believe in the Constitution. They believe in Authority. See John Dean's book, "Conservatives Without Conscience", where he uses the 30-year research of a University professorto prove that point.

* Black girls, of course.

Then there's the Tucker Carlson summary execution approach. (Although it's unclear if execution would apply to the theft of $11.)

They're going to continue to try to destroy America until we stop trying to save them. There's a lesson to be learned here.

Our grandchildren will have reality shows where they hunt old Republicans down for sport.

Our grandchildren will separate out the Republicans, and turn off the heat in their nursing homes.

Even the Republicans lucky enough to die before their descendants get wise will not be spared. They will be turned out of their graves, and our grandchildren will piss on their corpses.

There will be a day of reckoning for being the generation that ruined our great country.

Look at the stance and the expression on the face of the cop in that picture.

Tells you all you need to know.

Any gadget that overpowers others will sell,
But one that sends its victims into hell
Only confirms the asinine axiom

Guns don't kill people, tasers will vox

Read it again, Olives. Nice try, but no cigar. And it ain't no fantasy. The kids are really pissed at us for ruining things, and you know who they'll blame. You.

Hope you pile up enough money to build your impregnable castle before it happens, dolt.

Which is pretty fucking funny coming from the little man who exhorts other people to actually kill brown people on his behalf because he's too cowardly to do it himself, even though he gets his rocks off on those deaths.

Crrrreeep.

After reading a dozen reviews of movies where the reviewer said "not as funny as The Hangover," I finally rented it (I think that someone even said that about "Easy A," which was five thousand times better, btw).

That movie is full of easy, tired, stupid jokes. But the stupidest has Rob Riggle being "comically" sadistic with a Taser, and having schoolchildren tase people. Laff riot, it was.

At least OnA is on topic: a rare circumstance. Curious he didn't catch the reference in the first post though. Hmmmm...

Take notice of the bolded portion of StonyPillow's response, where he essential confirms that he advocates killing people,.... only he says "it ain't no fantasy"...

WTF are "brown people" ?

I tend to think you're making a racist slur here on Atta's blog. Is that the case? Please tell us that you're not doing that. I really don't think Atta appreciates people that make such slurs.
