It's going to be a long couple months at "The Villages"

Now the White House is just f**cking with the retiree base that form Mitt's base:

That's the response from Obama campaign spokeswoman Jen Psaki to Mitt Romney's apparent suggestion at a Virginia Beach, Va., rally on Saturday that Democrats hope to take "In God We Trust" off American money. There is no such effort.

Romney's implication was puerile even for a Steve King-type but Mitt was probably distracted by his pending bromance with David Gregory. I suppose post-interview planning on who you'll baptize together can be distracting [I bet it was John Chancellor].

But refuting it by saying it is as unlikely to happen as aliens attacking Florida is going to cause an Orson Welles-like panic among Romney's base.

Oh well, another reason to buy gold I guess.
