The "It wasn't my idea" defense hmmm

Seems like I've heard this Republican excuse of "not my fault" all my life by now.

For all the finger-pointing about Clint Eastwood’s rambling conversation with an empty chair on Thursday night, the most bizarre, head-scratching 12 minutes in recent political convention history were set in motion by Mitt Romney himself and made possible by his aides, who had shrouded the actor’s appearance in secrecy.
And we all know Mitt Romney loves two things, lying and secrecy.

Also a rare trait for a Republican.

Ah, well, the inability to admit a mistake is sort of hard-wired into all politicians. It's just exceedingly rare for them to admit fuck-ups, big or small. Maybe the proof is that authentic admissions of responsibility are just so damned rare.
