Emotional Tantrums from an Old Man

John McCain takes a tour of the Senate to get reacquainted.

Meanwhile, if he keeps this up, even David Broder may notice.

Let the record reflect that Barack Obama made the approach to John McCain tonight... He walked over to where McCain was chatting with Republican Sen. Mel Martinez of Florida and Independent Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman of Connecticut. And he stretched out his arm and offered his hand to McCain. McCain shook it, but with a “go away” look that no one could miss. He tried his best not to even look at Obama.

Yes, it is a theme.

But then, classy is...as classy has always done, say 1974:

"I'm going to the Middle East," Dramesi says. "Turkey, Kuwait, Lebanon, Iran." "Why are you going to the Middle East?" McCain asks, dismissively. "It's a place we're probably going to have some problems," Dramesi says. "Why? Where are you going to, John?" "Oh, I'm going to Rio." "What the hell are you going to Rio for?" McCain, a married father of three, shrugs. "I got a better chance of getting laid."
