The spokesflack for Michelle Bachman (aka "Mary Tyler Bore") had this to say after her 'Obama and Democrats are un-American' comment caused a deluge of donations to her opponent, Elwyn Tinklenberg:

"We have tried to run a very positive campaign."

Positively awful, that is.
