Good strategery

Why is Sarah Palin campaigning in Southern California? Forget the ham-handed slandering she engaged in that is particularly appalling given Nanook of the North is married to a guy who belonged to a secessionist group for more than half-a-decade. That's bad enough.

But Southern California?

Sure there are pockets of that area that are conservative, but everyone knows Obama's going to win California and win it going away. This is a little like McCain stopping to campaign in Iowa when he's down by 15 points last week -- instead of trying to save his ass in Michigan.

What's next, a rally in Chicago? Brooklyn?
