Trying to head off a potentially embarrassing state ethics report on GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin, campaign officials released their own report Thursday that clears her of any wrongdoing.

AWESOME!

McCain spokesman Taylor Griffin [ed. Why send a Taylor to a job meant for a Tucker?], who distributed the campaign's report, said it was written by the McCain-Palin campaign staff and based on public filings and Todd Palin's affidavit.

That's L'état c'est moi you can believe in my friends! Who has ever been more honest and dependable than a campaign staff, especially on the ol' Bullshit Express?

In other morning news, the Asian markets are sinking faster than Palin's approval ratings.
