Who thought that now that his presidential aspirations have been dashed John McCain will stop being such an extreme right-wing ass...

Think again, he's a bigger ass than ever.

To paraphrase David Broder:

He's telling people to get off his lawn, and it's not his lawn!'

Furthermore, look at this exchange Blitzer had with Mark Zandi an economic adviser to McCain's campaign:

BLITZER: Bottom line, even though you were an adviser to John McCain during the campaign, you say support what Barack Obama is doing right now. You say that to members of the House and Senate.

ZANDI: I absolutely do. I -- you know, I fear that the economy is slipping away. We need to act aggressively and quickly.

This isn't a perfect plan, by any stretch, but it is a good plan -- a good enough plan. It will create jobs and it will make a difference and we need to pass it quickly.

Everything the Obama Administration has said about the nature of the stimulus and where it is emphasized is backed up by this guy.

But McCain just HAS to be an asshole.

Considering McCain knows NOTHING about economics, even his own personal expenses (it's all Cindy's paid CPA's). All McCain does is gamble, literally, and have fun with his Veteran's Disability pension.
