Good for Iowa, part Two

While the Governor hasn't exactly been doing any heavy lifting on the issue, thankfully the House and Senate Democratic Leadership are supporting the civil rights of Iowans. Here is Senate Majority Leader Mike Gronstal refusing to join in the Minority Leader's effort to overturn the Iowa Supreme Court same-sex decision:



And he's right. The older generation doesn't get it.

Meanwhile, to let you know how the GOP is going to ride this sumbitch through the gates of irrelevancy, Bob Vander Plaats (yeah, that's his name) a leading GOP contender for Governor (along with, yes, Steve King) has come out for impeaching each and every Supreme Court Judge who was part of the unanimous decision. Some of whom are Republican appointees, including Mark Cady who wrote the lengthy and excellent opinion.
