Bonehead

There's a reason Nicolas Sarkozy is the first French leader the American right-wing has liked since Marshall Petain (Pierre Laval was the French Newt Gingrich after all).

1. He's so full of himself he'll take potshots at anyone else -- anyone! -- in comparison to his self-love, including Obama.

2. His own populace is not too keen on him -- like the ex-Mrs. Sarkozy I assume -- his poll numbers resemble American GOP numbers.

Asked in a survey for the Metro daily newspaper whether they were satisfied with Mr Sarkozy, 65 per cent of respondents said they were disappointed, 24 per cent were satisfied and 11 per cent said they had no opinion.

The same survey found that 63 per cent viewed Mr Sarkozy's overall record in office as negative while just 28 per cent regarded his record as positive.

Just call him Le Bush.
