The story of Jenny Sanford's soon to be ex's vows stories is simply humorous (maybe not to her, but to the rest of us):
Jenny Sanford, the estranged wife of South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford, told Barbara Walters in an ABC interview that her husband insisted they take the fidelity clause out of their marriage vows.
"It bothered me to some extent, but ... we were very young, we were in love," she said. "I questioned it, but I got past it ... along with other doubts that I had."
That's just funny though sad and poignant, but mostly funny.
As opposed to the John Edwards' sex tape story which is funny, but far more creepy and icky.
The political infidelity comedy continuum:
Pure Hilarity------->Funny, but kind of Creepy-----Mostly Creepy-----Far more than I want to know:
Jack Ryan ---- Sanford --- Clinton/Republican Prigs --- Edwards
Wilber Mills---The Gropinator----John Jenrette-----Mark Foley
To better explain the dynamic, anything involving James Traficant -- automatically pure hilarity, anything involving Tom Delay purely creepy.
