I thought that was last week?

I guess it was just a reasonable facsimile.  Good to know.

A letter that lists a "white graduates only" party as one of the activities planned for a class reunion has sparked outrage after it was leaked online.

For nearly 40 years, graduates from the St. Martinville, La., Senior High School Class of 1973 have been holding racially segregated class reunions.

But this year, ABC affiliate KATC reports that the graduates decided to change that tradition, making the reunion a non-segregated affair.

However, a letter announcing the change included an after party for "white graduates only."

Ah, well, they do have to have a time and place where they can make fun of the nigras without looking over their shoulders, don't they?

Faulkner was right. The past isn't even past.

St. Martinville is where Willie Francis was twice put in the electric chair -- it malfunctioned on the initial attempt to execute him (a drunk trustee wired it wrong).

It's also in the heart of the Cajun area of Loosiana, which in theory would suggest a slightly higher level of enlightenment than the redneck north and equally redneck Florida Parishes...but idiots are idiots everywhere, I guess.
