Douchebag

Dick Cheney, apparently is something in the vein of John Wesley Hardin. So mean he once shot a man - just so he could lie.

Well, maybe not lie -- although one has a feeling that is going on too; but certainly delay and Time Magazine goes into depth about just what a putz Crashcart is at covering shit up. Anybody want to clue the press in that this is a pattern that goes to Iraq, energy meetings, and outing CIA Operatives?

Vice President Cheney overruled the advice of several members of the White House staff and insisted on sticking to a plan for releasing information about his hunting accident that resulted in a 20-hour, overnight delay in public confirmation of the startling incident, according to several Republican sources.

"This is either a cover-up story or an incompetence story," said a top Republican who is close to the White House and has rarely been critical of the Administration in the past five years. "Karl was constrained, as was the entire communications operation, because the Vice President had arranged for how this was to come out."

What a prick. What a hor...

Say, wait a minute, did that report just portray Rove in a sympathetic light?

Golly, I wonder who the source of this story is?

...Cheney insisted on carrying out a strategy he had worked out with the ranch owner, Katharine Armstrong, in which she was to call a trusted reporter at the local paper, the Corpus Christi Caller-Times, to disclose the news.

I'm sorry, but Cheney is too fucking stupid to actually be a major political figure, who the hell thinks that sitting on this story will make it better? Fat bag surely wanted to avoid the Sunday Talk Shows. Cheney is afraid of Russert? Christ, how stupid is Cheney?...

"We can't get Bin Laden," David Letterman said on CBS, "but we nailed a 78-year-old attorney."

I do believe that Quick Draw McCrashcart will be providing us with fodder throughout the balance of the Winter.

UPDATE:

Much to my relief, and reality based world, it appears that in fact Rove was pitching in and coordinating the message early on. Whew!
