The spin about the spin, that is the choice to expose Big Time to rigorous cross examination, is now a hot topic. This quote defending the choice from some suck up at the official news agency of BushCo is rich:

"I think he wanted to make sure he got a fair interview and a good interview — good in the sense of thorough — and Brit is sort of the preeminent journalist in Washington right now."

I guess the key to the quote would be the qualifier. There you go Brit, you are sort of the preeminent journalist in D.C. right now.
