What have the Kagans been Wrong about Now?

Oh, Fred...

In the storehouse of conservative bullshit, The Weekly Standard website on June 5, 2007:

The details of the sectarian violence described in the Times [ed: which demonstrates that sectarian deaths have spiked upwards] article are not particularly instructive. The neighborhoods mentioned are among the very worst in Baghdad, and have been for some time.


In the same magazine, but for the June 11, 2007 issue (which I assume was written earlier Fred writes:

...the situation has changed significantly. Sectarian violence has dropped considerably as a result of the changed strategy


So sectarian violence has dropped, even when it hasn't, because Fred gets to cherry pick what he wants.

"Cherry Picking the info you want" -- golly, when haven't folks like Kagan (and Bush) not done that?
