Yeah, that'll work

Given the stellar accomplishments of Karen Hughes, one can only drop their jaws in wonder at Bush nominating "Uber Wanker" James "puts the Ass in" Glassman “to lead the State Department’s struggling efforts to improve the U.S.’s image abroad..."

You may recognize Glassman from his many years at AEI, where he published such memorable columns stating things like,
"[James] Inhofe is one of the best-informed Senators on the science and economics of global warming. And "global warming" -- as it's used by environmental extremists -- is indeed a hoax."

Or some of these other fabulous gems, sure to win the hearts of literally a handful of people abroad:

April 2003:
Conscientious opponents of the war should say they were wrong, wrong, wrong - on all counts. Certainly, if there had been failures, they would have condemned Bush administration officials and supporters of the war.

And, as for supporters: no, it is not over yet, but a little celebration, even gloating, is in order.

And then there was this in 2000:

Heckuva Job.
