With all due deference to the lovely and highly intelligent, Res Ipsa Loquitur, we offer our list of words, phrases, clauses, catch phrases, and names that we hope to hear in 2008 (please add you suggestions in the comments below):

3. Superbowl Champion Vikings (ok, this one is for me)
4. Writer's well compensated
5. Conservative Correctness
6. Progressive (in a way that is approving!)
7. Cool (does this one ever go away?)
8. Does this look like the right arm of a man who doesn't like sex?
9. That's SO Cheney! (said with a vigorous shaking of the head)
10. I accept responsibility
11. Its the music that matters

There are just a few of the words and phrases that will gain wide usage in 2008.
